Teams

The Teams feature in Pinggy allows you to securely share your subscriptions, and more specifically, Pinggy tokens, without the need to share your account password. By creating a team, you can add others to access specific Pinggy tokens associated with your subscription while maintaining complete control over your account.

Note: The Teams feature is only available for the Pinggy Pro subscription holders. You can upgrade to Pinggy Pro to use teams.

Benefits of Using Teams

  • No need to share passwords: Keep your account secure by sharing access to tokens instead of sharing your credentials.
  • Flexible access management: Add or remove team members and share selected tokens with specific teams.
  • Collaborative access: Team members can use as well as customize the Pinggy tokens you assign to them, enabling easier collaboration.

How to Create a Team

To create a team and start sharing Pinggy tokens, follow these steps:

  1. Visit the Teams Dashboard: Navigate to the Pinggy Dashboard to manage your teams.

  2. Create a Team:

    • Click on the “Create New Team” button.
    • Give your team a name and a description that represents the group you are sharing tokens with. create a team

  3. Add Tokens to the team:

    • Once the team is created, you can assign one or more Pinggy tokens to the team.
    • Click on the team and navigate to the “Tokens” tab. Then click the “Add Token” button to select and add tokens to this team.
    • These tokens will be shared with all the team members. If you make the token “editable,” then the team members will be able to manage settings, including the subdomain and custom domain associated with the token.

  4. Add Team Members:

    • Open the team and navigate to the “Members” tab. Then click on the “Add Member” button.
    • Input the email addresses of the people you want to add to your team.
    • The added members will have access to the shared tokens.

Managing Your Team

  • Add or Remove Tokens: You can add additional tokens or remove tokens from the team at any time, giving you full control over what is shared.
  • Manage Team Members: You can add or remove team members as needed. Removing a team member will immediately revoke their access to the shared tokens.

Viewing Tokens as a Member

  • Visit the teams page in the Pinggy Dashboard.
  • You will be able to see the list of teams to which you are a member.
  • Click on any team, and then navigate to the “Tokens” tab to view the tokens.
